Last summer, Caleb, Kingston (our dog) and I ventured toward the Kawartha’s and decided to wing it. It turned out to be the best trip we have had. We ended up driving aimlessly around for 4 days finding new water ways and paths in the most beautiful places in Ontario.

Go to a Speedway and have a full on NASCAR experience behind the wheel, not as a passenger.

My favourite thing to do in Niagara is…

Simple - going to the Market Square downtown St. Catharines every weekend for fresh flowers in the spring and summer months.

Liana Romano was welcomed to St. Catharines approximately 15 years ago entering her grade 12 year of high school at St. Francis from Oakville. Though she was not new to the area, as her family has lived here all her life, it felt new. What intrigued her most about Niagara was the sense of community she felt, which was not the case at her previous hometown. Oakville felt like a stop. There weren’t any Aunts, Uncles or cousins at soccer games or in the same class. It was a town people moved to on their own that needed a closer commute to the city. When moving to St. Catharines she was already surrounded by her family and took notice quite quickly that it seemed to be this way for many. It made Niagara have a small town feel with a big city heart. Oakville became a distant place and St. Catharines was where she called home.

Having to meet new people at the tender age of 17, while all others already had their forever friends, created a challenge to step outside of the zone of comfort. The “big move” has definitely played a role in Liana’s Real Estate career, mannerisms, and ability to make everyone she meets feel as important and valued as the next. She has a background in Sales & Marketing which drove her to choose the next step into Real Estate. Creating commercials wasn’t for her. She wanted to be a part of something bigger. Instead of working for someone else’s dream she wanted to help people find theirs and those who found it, to create it into actualisation. This dream being a home and a future. Her Sales & Marketing background has developed an understanding of unique promotional techniques as well as the importance of effective advertising and publicity in reaching qualified buyers.

Armed with a strong understanding and study of today’s market as well as a firm handle on the power of technology, Liana brings a broad skillset to the table.
